Sri Ramalingeshwara Temple is really beautiful!
Nandi Kandiis a small village located 15 Kms from Sangareddy and 60 Kms from Medak. The temple known locally as the Rameshwara or the Ramalingeshwara Temple is a unique star shaped temple of the Kalyana Chalukyan period. The four exquisitely sculptured pillars in the centre of the hall (Navaranga) depict the figures of the Hindu deities Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva, Narasimha, Varaha, Nataraja, Devi Mahishasur Mardini, Devi Saraswati and Gaja Lakshmi in various forms. There are also sculptures depicting Dikpalakas, Apsaras, Rakshasas, Matrumurti and Darpan Warriors etc. For more information regarding the temple timings and pujas contact temple pujari Sri J. How to reach temple: The temple is very near to Nandi Kandi Bus Stop. If you are coming from Hyderabad catch the Bus going to Zahirabad / Sadasivapet / Bidar Or catch bus going to Patanchervu from there every ½ hour bus is available and get down at Nandi Kandi . Temple is just 3 minutes walk from Bus Stop.
